This week was good and stuff like that. First we had P-day! I don’t remember much from P-day. It was fun though. That’s about it. Then was Tuesday. Nothing too special happened on Tuesday. We just went around and worked and stuff. Wednesday was much the same. We got more done though. We also had the youth activity. We all went to the lake and picked up trash. We picked up a lot this time. Afterwards, everyone went out for ice cream.
Thursday was a good day. We started by doing service at Loaves and Fishes. It was good. And they fed us again. That’s good too. After we were done there we waited for the zone leaders to show up. They came down for exchanges. Elder Howell and I went with Elder Bennett and the other Elders went with Elder Sweeten. It was a good exchange. We were able to see a lot of people.
Another funny thing that happend on Thursday was Elder Howell set our microwave on fire. He put a little pastry in for a short time because he thought it would be better warm. Then it caught on fire! It was pretty funny actually. After we took that out we put a box of Dots in for 6 minutes and it boiled out of the box. That was fun too. But it smelled bad. Later in the day we put a bar of soap in for 8 minutes. All of the other Elders watched. It was awesome!
On Friday we had district meeting. The zone leaders were still here so they came too. It was a really good one. We talked about finding. When it was over Elder Wilde held some tie competitions. He did three this time instead of just one. Now I am the district NERF sharpshooting champion and I also know the capital of Wisconsin. Elder Howell is the district musical chairs champion. UFC musical chairs that is. Because of my winnings I have now hit 61 ties.
Saturday was another good day. We first had a really good lesson with one of our members younger brother. He is 8 years old. His brother is one of the only members, and the only active member in his family. We taught the restoration and he understood it very well. We are trying to help him get permission to get baptized because his parents aren’t members.
After our awesometastic lesson we did a bunch of service at the McFadden’s. We helped clean their gardens up and their garage. Dean gave us some old firefighter pants we found. They are awesome! I would keep them, but I don’t have room to carry them around. Maybe I could send them home though.
Church on Sunday was really good. It was the primary program. It had four participants. But, it was really good. For the last two hours there was a family history training by some people from Dodge City. Us missionaries were assigned to watch the younger kids. So, we watched The Testaments. It was still a little crazy though. After church we had chili! It was tasty.
Anyway, it was a good week. Now it’s P-day again and I’m wearing a fake moustache.
