Hey Everyone,

We’ve got some crazy stuff going on!  Snow days and new missions.  Anyway, I’ll start with the beginning of the week.  Monday was P-day and was full of P-day things.  We also went up to the Gaukel’s house for most of the day.  We played Solarquest and Charlie won.  Tuesday was pretty normal.  We did our emails because the libraries were closed Monday.  Then we visited some people.  I can’t remember for sure, but we probably did some tracting.  Wednesday we did our normal Wednesday thing.  We went to the Ministry Center and did service.  Then we taught a couple of people.  And we did a little bit of tracting.
On Thursday we took a little break.  Not because we wanted to though.  We had another blizzard.  Only this one went on ALL day.  It hit pretty much all of the mission.  So President Keyes told us to stay inside.  It was a nice little S-day (snow day).  We got a little cabin fever and were really bored though.  You can only study so long.  I was so bored that I ended up reading all of Deuteronomy.  I don’t know how much I actually got out of it.
Friday we were still shut down for half of the day.  Then we got to work.  Which meant a lot of shoveling.  We had dinner with the Ackmans and they took us to the A&G restaurant in town.  It’s a Greek restaurant and the food was delicious.  Also on Friday we got the news that our mission is going to be split!  Half will stay Missouri Independence and the other half will be Kansas Wichita.  That’s all that anyone, including President, knows about it right now.  I do know that it means I could end up in a different mission around June or July.  That would be interesting.
Saturday was a good effective day.  We actually didn’t do much but tracting.  But, it was tracting with a priest so it was more fun.  Sunday was great.  We had church.  and at church Chuck received the priesthood and became a priest.  It was pretty awesome.
So that was my crazy week.  Today we are supposed to get another big storm.  We might get put on lock down again.
Stay Classy,
Elder Tubbs
