This week was pretty fun. We got a lot of tasty treats too. I’m liking the Christmas season more that usual. On Monday we did P-day things. On Tuesday we decided to go on a little road trip. We drove all the way out to Westboro, which is about 30 miles away. We were trying to visit some of the less active members in the towns on the way there. On the way back we went through Elmo (yes, that is a real town). While we were there we decided to pay a surprise visit the Gaukel’s, the family we are teaching. It was a good visit. We didn’t teach very much because they weren’t all there, but they just like our company. We found out Sunday that Sis. Gaukel had told one of her friends in the ward that she was feeling some doubt and was praying for guidance, and then we showed up. It was awesome! I didn’t realize it at the time but we were prompted to go there.
The rest of the week was pretty average. Except for the fact that we were given a lot of cookies and other treats just from visiting people. That and on Sunday after church we had a Branch Brunch. That’s pretty catchy. It was a nice pot luck with a bunch of good food. There were some really good desserts.
